Farceur’s Valentine

This elegant mare is of rare and pure California breeding. She is quick as a cat but has a very kind, gentle way about her as well. She is of old working bloodlines and displays the disposition and beauty that made her ancestors so desirable. Crossed with Braveheart of Timespast, Valentine produced a very typey colt of sweet disposition and anxious to please (see Dawn Winds Valentino).

Next she will be crossed with Trigger to bring together the two strongest sources of Winterset available today – Farceur and Triple S. It will be a cross made in heaven for those loving the old using Morgans for ranch work. Through Valentine, we plan to preserve the Old World Morgan type and purity, producing foals for family pleasure horses and using horses.

We feel indebted to the Hazelwood women, of Richwood Morgans, for breeding and preserving this line of true Morgan horses. Your knowledge and wisdom, and unwillingness to follow the fads is one of the reasons there are undiluted Morgans of this quality still in existence. Thank you!
